Three Shires Head

This is the point on Axe Head Moor where Cheshire, Derbyshire and Staffs meet. This landmark is on the River Dane crossed by a packhorse bridge built in the late 18th century. We arrived on the Staffordshire side but were too late to find space at the nearest carpark. A two hour walk was worth it though, first to hear the waterfall then gradually view the amazing construction . Something about moving water which stirs the soul plus it’s a great subject for the artist. Framed artwork for sale direct from the artists. Mixed media landscape paintings available to buy at affordable prices . These can easily be purchased via my Store Page @ www.billtollyart.co.uk/shop
