Rainow - Snow

Relentless snow all last night with the wind howling at about 4am. Woke up to the magical wonder of snow in Rainow on the eastern side of the Peaks. All nearby routes are closed.Walked up the hill on nearby farmland with some areas three foot deep, especially in the snow drifts. Glorious blue and lilac shadows against the white blanket and the air is bracing and fresh.
