Macclesfield Forest -adding watercolour

I have returned to this scene again as I love the composition and rolling hills above and below Macclesfield Forest in the East Cheshire area of the Peak District. Began with Sharpie pen then have added two layers of watercolour. The lines above the initial layer create texture and pattern. The translucent quality of watercolour is a favourite of this artist and I intend to retain that, will try to only add acrylic in the areas which I deem necessary. Hopefully I won’t overwork it. My January SALE is still ongoing with reduced prices on all of my prints and paintings of the peak District. Affordable artwork for your home !
